Environmental Health Incorported (EHI) is an Occupational Safety and Health consulting firm specializing in industrial hygiene, safety, and environmental health. We have been in business for 30 years and have over 75 years of combined experience among the three principal consultants.
We work closely with our clients in a problem-solving approach to incorporate safety and health into their operations. We also factor in methods to improve productivity and to control costs.
EHI offers a broad range of services to commericial building owners, contractors and institutions. Sorry, we do not do residential homes at this time. We have expertise in asbestos, lead paint, hazardous materials, industrial hygiene, safety, indoor air quality, building science, mold and training. Our consultants are experienced, highly professional and licensed in a variety of disciplines.
Philip Terrell, Sc.D, CIH, CSP: The owner and principal consultant is Philip Terrell. Philip is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) with the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH), Certified Safety Professional (CSP) with the Board of Certifed Safety Professionals (BCSP)and holds a doctorate (Sc.D.) in Occupational And Environmental Hygiene from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. He is been practicing as a consultant since 1976 and has a broad background in general industry, construction, shipbuilding, pharmaceuticals as well as the healthcare and higher education industries. Michele Pitoniak Crawford, MPH, CHMM, RSO: Michele is the Director of BioSciences for EHI specializing in all aspects of environmental and occupational health and safety program evaluation, developement and management for clients in the life sciences and university research sectors. Michele was approved by the MDPH as a Consultant Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) including 40 hour Radiation Safety Officer certification and DOT Radioactive Materials Shipping training. Edward C. Shea: Ed is the EHI Operations Manager. Ed handles all staff & job scheduling. He has been a practicing Industrial Hygeniest since 1998 and is a Massachusetts-licensed asbestos inspector, and project monitor. email@example.com
Dan Batista: Dan is an Industrial Hygienist and and is a Massachusetts-licensed asbestos inspector, and project monitorect monitor with over a 10 years of experience. Dan also provides safety oversight on HAZWOPER projects.
Matthew King: Matt is an Industrial Hygienist, Massachusetts-licensed asbestos inspector, and project monitor with nearly 15 years of field experience. Matt also holds his HAZWOPER training certificate and current refresher requirements.
Jerry Siletti: Jerry is a graduate of Fitchburg State with a degree in Environmental Science. He has been with EHI since 2012 as an industrial hygienist, he is a Massachusetts-licensed asbestos inspector and project monitor.
Sean Crawford: Sean is graduate of UMass Lowell and joined EHI in 2014, as an industrial hygienist. He is a Massachusetts-licensed asbestos inspector and project monitor. Sean is pursuing graduate work in industrial hygiene.
Ian McMullen: Ian is graduate from WPI and joined EHI in 2015, as an industrial hygienist. He is a Massachusetts licensed asbestos project monitor and inspector.
Betsy Ryan: Betsy, a University of Iowa accounting graduate and CPA, joined EHI in 2016 as the Office Manager.
Eli Bakal: Eli is a 2016 graduate of Salem State and joined EHI following his graduation. He holds Massachusetts licenses as an asbestos project monitor and inspector.
David Knight: David is a recent graduate of Salem State and after interning with EHI last summer has come on as a full time industrial hygeniest. David holds the Massachusetts asbestos monitor license and is pursuing graduate work to become a CIH.
Ryan Crawford: Ryan joined EHI in 2017. He brings with him two years in the field and a HAZWOPER designation. He holds Massachusetts license for asbestos project monitoring.
