Environmental Health, Incorporated (EHI) is an occupational safety and health consulting firm specializing in industrial hygiene, safety, and environmental health. We have been in business for over 30 years and have over 75 years of combined experience among our principal consultants.
We work closely with our clients in a problem-solving approach to incorporate safety and health into their operations. We also factor in methods to improve productivity and to control costs.
EHI offers a broad range of services to commercial building owners, contractors and institutions. Sorry, we do not provide services for residential homes at this time. We have expertise in asbestos, lead paint, hazardous materials, industrial hygiene, safety, indoor air quality, building science, Legionella, mold and worker training. Our consultants are experienced, highly professional and licensed in a variety of disciplines.

Philip G. Terrell
Philip G. Terrell proudly leads the firm and is often found working directly with EHI's clients in the field. His dedication to service comes with over 40 years of industrial hygiene experience, providing advanced consultation and assistance to a variety of clientele across the United States. Phil is EHI's chief industrial hygienist currently holding his CIH and CSP certifications among others.
Phil is a graduate from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2009 with a Doctorate in Occupational Hygiene. Phil enjoys spending his free time boating, mountain biking, and traveling.

Michele P. Crawford
Michele is the Director of BioSciences for EHI specializing in all aspects of environmental and occupational health and safety program evaluation, development and management for clients in the life sciences and university research sectors.
Michele was approved by the MDPH as a Consultant Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) including 40 hour Radiation Safety Officer certification and DOT Radioactive Materials Shipping training.
She has over twenty years of experience in these fields.

Edward Shea
Ed Shea has been an integral team member of EHI since 1997 and is an active industrial hygienist, safety consultant and operations manager. While simultaneously handling job scheduling and environmental surveys in and out of the field, he is also providing our staff with critical development strategies in organization, project handling, and in other demands in our service.
Ed is constantly working with clients in remediation, hazardous materials management and compliance consultation. Ed has over 20 years of safety experience acting as both an onsite safety officer and safety adviser. Ed is a Massachusetts-licensed asbestos inspector and asbestos project monitor.

Jerry Silletti
Jerry started as an intern with EHI in 2009. After earning a degree in Environmental Biology and a minor in Chemistry from Fitchburg State in 2011, he began his full-time work at EHI. Jerry carries certificates and/or MA state licenses for asbestos project monitoring, site inspection and X-Ray Florescence (XRF) lead paint inspections.
After work hours, Jerry enjoys playing ice hockey and is in the process of earning his Master's degree in Work Environment.
